We were delighted to attend the private view of Hiroyuki Arakawa’s beautiful black and white flower photographs on the 30th April. The exhibition was part of collaboration designed by Saffron Interior arts and was held at the Little Black Gallery on Park Way.
The exhibition was compiled of some of his classic black white and combined with newer works which had minimal colour.
We at Eliska designs are great admirers of his work and we have used his work in many projects- in fact Eliska herself has decorated her own home with the photographs similar to the ones on display at the show.
The event was fabulous- with wall to wall guests enjoying champagne and canapes. The gallery was also decked out with the most beautiful flower arrangements- complimenting the work hanging on the walls. We were delighted to be introduced to the artist and his wife Maxine.
If you get the chance, do get down to see the exhibition

For some reason, silver plate has been selling well in the shop this week———Tea sets, cake stands and pastry tongs. Any one for tea?
The image above is an Art Deco Silver Plate Tea Set and Tray and is priced at £1,400.00. It is a ribbed, angular silver plate tea set consisting of a teapot, a coffee pot, a sugar bowl, a creamer and a silver plate tray. (c.1920).
